AVANTIME PASSION : Le Forum

Good afternoon to everyone.
First of all, let me apologize - I have to type all the text in Eng. only, because unfortunately i don't know French.

My name is Jiri and I am 28 years old. I was born and live in CZ. Finally i have found my Avantime cca 1year ago in Prague. Unfortunately the body was scratched quite a lot from Prague traffic, but if was "love for the first ride". Before i was driving Vel Satis 2,2dci (sold with damaged turbo at 360 000km - bought with 205000km). Anyway I was in love with Avantime even in that times when i had my VS - I was looking on adverts on Leboncoin and mobile.de time to time and all adverts in CZ to see at least some real pictures and still dreaming about.

Finally when i was thinking also about Laguna Coupe, accidentally happened that one 3,0V6 Privilege was for sell close to the company office in Prague, where I am once a week. I told to myself to go and see, but not to buy, just try how is the feeling. But when i sat into the car and the seller opened the roof and windows by "magic button" (grand air) i was amazed ... and i had to get that car immediately

it is 3,0V6 Privilege without navi, Nocturne with black leather and 17" Rhodes. Meanwhile i did basic maintenance - timing belt+timing wheels, oil, filtres, and Exhaust system (built up from Espace 3 exhaust parts, not inox). we already passed also the paint repair.

I named it "Izabelka" - Isabel - because whan i bought the car, there was a sticker on a rear window "Izabelka on board".

Thank you Jerome, its better and easier to follow more forums and find more people with same "defect" -just kidding, Italo from Italian club told me about this page, so i joined

as I wrote also on Amicale - hope to be able to join some meeting soon

Hi Erik, honestly i am in Prague just for work, so i even dont know a lot from old town. Think that i saw more "heritage" (sights) in Paris than in Prague - which is a shame, but it is like that unfortunately.

thank you, the engine is already cleaned also, but i didnt took pics of that and as i also mentioned on amicale - i would like to change the design of interior into Pack Exception by my friend:
http://www.peceokuzi.cz/ - see references - he is really insane - he was cleaning also my leather in Vel Satis and it seems almost like a new one


but still i am not convincet if i should change the interior design to PE - i like gris perle and rough inca, but still thinking if to keep as an original or to change (even for original interior which was possible to order with the car). Meanwhile i am solving small "aesthetic" problems

think that i will keep "Jerome" - PP is not the best meaning in English (maybe can be different in French) maybe will change my mind when you will explain one day with a bottle of a beer how to pronounce correctly to avoid misunderstanding
